Rancho Santiago's registered appaloosa mare, Fist Full of Pesos, foaled our first mule baby of the '06 season. Apache Dancing Native was foaled and imprinted on Friday, March 10, 2006. She was sired by our premiere jack sire, Black Gold.

Kiowa Blue Medicine Man was foaled on March 25, 2006. Maria, Leroy Cagle (mule consultant), and Jordan Hughes (ranch manager) all got in on the imprinting of Medicine man while he was still wet from birth. This baby john mule is "blue" not black. Medicine Man is expected to turn the blue roan appaloosa color of his registered appaloosa mare, Navajo Abby. The jack sire is the great, Rancho Santiago Black Gold.
