These mules are foaled out of our registered appaloosa mares. We breed for saddle mules with gentle calm personalities, safe minds, excellent conformation, refined modern type mule heads, great ears, medium bone, superior conformation, muscular bodies, and color. Our goal is to raise the best saddle mules!

Apache Trail Ranger was foaled out of Rancho Santiago's 16 hand registered appaloosa brood mare, Lupe. Trail Ranger was imprinted at birth and was an inquisitive loving youngster from the start of life. Ranger has black rock hard hooves. His is dark brown with rust color around his intelligent eyes and on his nose. At this time Trail Ranger shows no signs of sporting appaloosa color. This 3 year old has an exceptionally beautiful head and great mule ears complimented by muscles. Ranger is started under saddle and has been easily worked on a 30,000 acre rough country ranch by our trainer. Apache Trail Ranger shows all of the signs, personality, strength, and conformation of making a superior riding, trail, and hunting mule. As of 12-5-06 Trail Ranger was measured at 14.2 hands tall.
