This is a classy and fancy top of the line young john mule. Chief's excellent genetics come from our registered appaloosa mare "Maria's Mora" and the Rancho Santiago Jack Sire "Black Gold". He was imprinted soon after being foaled. Chief is a sorrel john mule with great appaloosa color sporting a wonderful distinctive large square star on his forehead, white patches on his rump, white nose, stripped hoofs, and a touch of white around his wide set intelligent calm eyes. Chief is beginning to roan out with white hairs coming in all over his body so we expect him to develop a lot more white color on his sorrel base coat.. At maturity Chief is expected to be around 14.2 hands of QUALITY eye appeal and performance!

Colorado bred mare from a.i.

Durango is a really nice looking young mule that is coming yearling in the spring of 2006. He is out of a big time registered appaloosa mare that we purchase out of Colorado from a friend that is an elk guide. This mule was bred by artificial insemination out of the famous jack "Jimmy Joe" at the Rafter J Ranch. Durango is a beautiful seal brown color (rare color) with a distinctive cotton white ring around his dark brown eyes. He also shows signs of turning grey. We just love his bright white nose and white under belly. Nice temperament & good personality. Durango is a very excellent quality yearling mule.
