Clyde is our "rig" dog that sees, scents or senses hogs while riding on the top of the truck. Clyde alerts us to the hogs and then by sight or sent trail goes to the wild hogs, while leading our other dogs. Clyde bays a boar and will catch and hold a hog to stop it from running. We have no need for a bull dog catch dog ... we prefer to have our Catahoulas catch. Clyde is great eager hunter that loves to get it on with wild pigs. Clyde won't quit or back down because he is tough to the core, very athletic and smart. |
Clyde's color of black saddle back and brindle compliments his fine conformation and amber eyes. We really like his color. Dr. Jim says, "a good responsive, well trained, go get 'um hunting dog,with great courage and intelligence is never a bad color!"

Dr. Jim was elated to find the out-cross bloodlines we were seeking to enhance our breeding operation in our new 3 year old Catahoula dog, "Clyde". We will be able to breed Bosco's daughters to Clyde and Clyde will breed Bosco's females. Clyde's superior breeding is exciting in that it will provide truly Super puppies.
